We've come to the end of summer here. School starts next week in our lovely state of New York. This time we cannot ignore the occasion and continue our restriction-less days. Amie is excited about her new school, the teacher, meeting new friends and the great things she is going to learn. I can't wait for preschool to begin but I will miss my bugster from noon until three pm! I should have a decent amount of time each day to catch up on cleaning, laundry and those half finished projects! I'm sad to see the summer end. No more freshly picked berries or running off at anytime to play at the park. I'll miss seeing the kids snuggled on the couch for afternoon quiet time, instead tickling Temperance so she'll grin a giggle in her hiccupy way. It'll be an odd adjustment at first with the beginning of school. We've got a bunch of doctor and dentist appointments all stacking up at the same time too... Finding time for everything will be a new task for me but I'll learn to deal with it. Come January it'll be much easier for me to stay on top of everything, we've decided to upgrade my phone (which I adore) to the most popular smart phone available (which I dislike but it is the best!)
Our little Temperance is getting big, at 7 weeks old she's now 10lbs. She's well out of her cute newborn sleepers and her tiny feet are finally big enough for the crib shoes I wanted to bring her home in. It excites me to see her start smiling at her siblings antics and giggle every time you touch her belly and sides.
Matty is becoming a lover, he gives Temperance so much affection and tries to play gently with her although his tickles are a bit rough still. He loves playing with Amie, I swear those two are joined at the hip when it comes to being noisy and making messes!
Xoxo, A.Scott
