Prepped and ready for takeoff!

I think I've packed everything. Maybe too much by now. If you asked Jeremiah about my packing skills he'd say I over do it every time. I'm almost inclined to agree... Except, the Jeep isn't full! I have more room so obviously I didn't go to the extreme. At least this trip shouldn't take Fed-Exing 2 huge storage totes to get everything back home!

I had planned to throw a decent grad luncheon for my sister. Instead I think the plan is to go out to eat. It's not a big deal but now I have a bag full of paper dishes and decorations that may not end up being used. There's also a box full of 12 month sized clothes and a bag full of crafted gifts in the jeep, they're NOT scheduled for the return trip. Other than that, I have a stroller our suitcase and the stuff we might need for Temperance. (However, it's quite unlikely she will arrive 4 weeks early. There's 50% of the space consumption, a hospital bag and convertible carseat!)

The only things not in the car right now waiting for our departure tonight: the heathens and a bottle of bright pink amoxicillin.

At least the beasts are cooperating fairly well today. We've finished breakfast and everyone is dressed all before 9 am! I was even able to wash dishes, wipe down the kitchen and get snarly hair detangled without a single complaint. Even Matty wanted his locks raked out by Amie's glittery pink brush. (He actually backed over to me when I asked him if he wanted his hair done too. It's not fair for Mommy and Amie to get all dressed up and not include a funky monkey in the pampering!

We are all getting anxious for this trip to start for our various reasons... I'm getting tired of waiting. Fingers crossed everything goes as planned!

Xoxo, A. Scott
