We saw the OB today. I should really be more attentive when making my appointments... After the normal routine: weight 120lbs, heart rate and BP normal, fundal height normal, protiens normal... I was told to disrobe for the next step in our progress towards bringing Temperance home. I had my group B strep culture taken and a fun internal exam done by none other than Dr. Laskey. Not that I have any modesty when it comes to my physicians but it is quite disconcerting when a grandpa is staring at your privates. According to Laskey's very accurate scales he's estimating Temperance to be between 6 and 7lbs. We've had no dialation or braxton hicks contractions yet but she's already in position. I'm sure in her little brain she's already scheming ways to get back at her brother and sister for all the raspberries they keep blowing onto her waterbed. I feel like there's no room left in there... We'll see! We want to make it until the 12th if at all possible but I guess her birthday is all up to her!

ReplyDeleteThanks! We are all very excited for her arrival sometime soon. Hopefully she will wait until her Ba is able to make it into town. I think we are all trying to take it easy until then.
