BRRR!

It's snowing.

With my horrible skill of observation, I'm guessing that we have about 12 inches on the ground. We've set our thermostat to 66 degrees and although it is chilly if you run around in a diaper or panties(like my naked kids try to do) I'm not bothered. Unless we have to go out, I stay in my "Hayfield Hawks" sweat pants and oh so comfy "Where The Eagles Chill" hoodie. If you could see me, you'd laugh! My school pride has extended fully into my adulthood.

Either this pregnancy or super dry weather is causing me to have horrible dry skin, chapped lips, brittle nails and the desire to nap constantly. I don't care what the cause is as long as a solution comes quickly. My fingertips hurt, I've broken three nails in one day and they all went into the quick! It seems like I've lost every tube of chap stick I've purchased in the last month... (I bet my kids know where they've made off to.) I have one hidden in my bathroom that hopefully won't vanish.

Oh well, even with all my complaining, this weather has given us more time as a family. Jeremiah got the day off of work we are probably going to head outside to get some pictures of the area we live in. Maybe my little scaredy cat kids will actually play in the snow this time... Knowing them, fat chance! We'll spend easily ten to twenty minutes calming them down after the traumatic experience of playing in cold snow.

XOXO, A. Scott
