Little Lookie is measuring around 8 ounces, right on track for our due date in July. Heart rate was up at 150, again. It seems like all my babies keep it up pretty high. We had a fairly cooperative baby for this ultrasound. (It annoys me that they make you suck down fluids all morning. By the time you get there you have to pee so bad you feel like you could wet yourself in public. Then they tell you that it's ok if you go potty because you're far enough along that the extra fluids were unnecessary... Really? If that's the case why not let on beforehand that I didn't have to drink my weight in water in the first place..., enough ranting, back to the results.) The tech did a great job of concealing the images on the screen from me and only letting Miah see the gender of our newest baby. We were given a disk of pictures for y'all but I'm only posting one for now. I can't decide if I want to put the rest in my album or send them out in an email...
The Doctor came in to our exam room and asked the normal questions and did his routine. Then he gave it away, he accidentally slipped with the info Miah was trying to keep from me. So, now that I know we have agreed to let everyone else know:
IT'S A GIRL!As of now, we both agree on the name Temperance Ellexis Scott. Keep in mind that we have 5ish months to go and so the name is still up for debate. If you have suggestions please let us know, we'd love to hear your input!
Amie has informed us that she will teach her ballet and that they will be best friends. I'm pretty sure she said the same thing when she found out about Matthew. We are all happy that our family is growing by one more beautiful and healthy baby!
XOXO, A. Scott
