We all want to congratulate my youngest sister Damara. She has 5 months left of high school. In June we hope to visit to attend her graduation, fingers crossed! Hopefully we will be able to watch her receive her diploma from Dr. Wagner. She's already been accepted at Virginia Commonwealth University. It's a wonderful state school in the capitol of Virginia. She's very excited about her acceptance at her first choice school. It's broad selection of courses and proximity to her job and our parents make it great choice for her.
Needles to say, we are all so very pleased that she is happy and on her way to a very bright future. We would love to see her excel in college and in life. If you can help us raise money to assist with purchasing textbooks we would all appreciate it. I know she's working very hard to be able to afford this wonderful school.
You can read more about her college experience on her blog.
XOXO, A. Scott
Thank you for such a wonderful posting. I am very excited about this next step in my life! I have been non-stop talk about VCU for the past week. Mom is getting tired of hearing about the 'necessities' I plan to buy for my dorm. (a mini fridge and microwave are necessities for late night studying). Anyway, I've narrowed it down to Brandt Hall. If you get a chance you should look it up and check it out. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you can make it down for my graduations. Please give the kids extra kisses from their auntie. Love you guys! Xoxo -Damara
ReplyDeleteWe love you! When you start picking out those necessities send me pictures so I can see what style you are leaning towards. I'd love to make little things to help keep you organized (fridge magnets, clippy doo-dads, personalized notebooks and the such!) We can't wait to read about your new adventure.
