Easter

Oops... So Easter didn't actually happen today... It's been postponed till a better day thanks to one rather lovely tantrum from Amie. I can't say I blame her for not wanting to clean house and play nice until daddy joined the land of the living again. I feel quite the same on many an occasion but reality is that patience is a must to survive in our society.

SOOOO, because of recent events we've chosen to attempt our celebratory Easter Basket Treasure Hunt tomorrow. Regardless of what day we actually celebrate Easter on I will have pictures and a video to share with our family and friends.

On a happier note, my house is darn near Sparkling! There are no clothes laying around, toys to trip on or dishes acting as petri dishes. We've scrubbed down the dining room and started a nice spring cleaning in all of the grubby bathrooms. Although nothing has been completed, the tasks are in progress and I can smell the scent of lemon in almost every room. If nothing else, it's a decent start for having a go at it alone today.

Oh, I've been given the unofficial go ahead to research camera accessories or my beloved Nikon. Jeremiah is convince that with a decent lens, tripod and remote I can take family pictures as well as any pro here. I'm a little concerned about the proposition yet thrilled that he thinks so highly of my self-taught half-assed skills.

Well, it's late and I am starting to feel the need for an extra strength TUMS. Those things are more valuable than gold in this house right now!
